Search Engineers

  • Proven industry experience with developing Internet Search technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of large scale data representation (indexing) and ranking issues.
  • Experience with with Lucene, Sphinx, Nutch or alike.
  • Familiarity with GFS, MapReduce, Hadoop framework and alike – a plus.
  • Experience with large scale distributed systems.
  • Focused/Motivated crawlers.
  • B.Sc in CS, physics or mathematics.
  • Java experience.
  • .NET – a major plus.
  • Out-of-the box thinker.

  • Experienced back-end developer with 3 years of Java experience..
  • Particular emphasis on scalability, performance and robustness..
  • Focused, thorough, autonomous and a quick learner..
  • B.Sc in CS, physics or mathematics. (excellent developers without academic background may apply).
  • .NET experience a major plus..

    • Algorithm / Text Retrieval Engineers

  • 3 years of practical/industry experience in the areas of Information and Text Retrieval (Text Mining).
  • M.Sc/Ph.D in Computational Linguistics.

    • Theoretical background in the areas of:

  • Named Entity Extraction and Syntactical Analysis.
  • Supervised / Un-Supervised NLP methodologies.
  • Semantic Networks and Semantic Analysis.
  • Familiarity with existing relevant platforms.
  • Must be a hands-on oriented, including the ability to implement complex algorithms
  • Results driven orientation.
  • .NET / Java – a major plus.
  • Out-of-the box thinker
  • Experience with large scale distributed systems – a plus
  • Leading capabilities

    • QA Engineers

  • Experience in testing large web sites systems.
  • Experience in building large testing infrastructure.
  • Experience with industry standard Stress/Load tools (e.g. Mercury’s LoadRunner, RadView’s Webload)
  • Experience with automated functional and regression tests as well as system wide and load tests.
  • Development experience (building test tools) and Databases knowledge
  • Some IT experience
  • B.Sc in CS

    • Linux System Administrator
    The person in-charge will maintain the office systems and the company production servers (system and infrastructure) in local/remote locations.

  • 6+ years experience with Linux administration, installation and products - Through understanding of web and network services configuration and management is a MUST (Apache, DNS, SMTP, HA, etc.)
  • 4+ years of experience in server class hardware. Knowledge in HP servers is an advantage.
  • Experience with Windows 2000/2003 Server architectures - Active Directory, Exchange 2003, designs and implementations, etc.
  • Knowledge with LAN/WAN network equipment and administration (Cisco preferred).
  • Knowledge with security and firewalls (Checkpoint preferred).
  • Knowledge with storage solution in general and NetApp storages in specific is an advantage.
  • Project management and documentation skills.
